Assess parking space size
When parking backwards, cameras could assess the size of the parking spot and display how hard/easy parallel parking will be
We are now marking features that have been implemented by Tesla and taking them out of the main lists of requests.

When stuck in snow, would be great to be able to activate « Auto Rocking Mode ». This mode would automatically rock the vehicle back and forth using the IMU, Cameras, etc... to get the best rocking motion possible and get out of snow easily. Especially for the RWD models.
Ever wonder if you are in the parking lines? Well we should be able to see it on the screen if we are in the middle or over the line. This is anytime we are in a parking lot and pulling forward or backwards into a spot.
It would be great for OCD drivers like me to have an automatic setting that aligns the passenger seat to the same position as the drivers seat. Really can’t stand looking inside with both seats way out of alignment from each other!
Great idea read from 'Paladaxar' at electrek.co:
The opacity of the glass roof could be variable. Keeps automatically the sun out and saves AC power.
If door handle is frozen, be able to open drivers door with button in phone app.
Maybe just allow option if if temperature is below 5 C.
Where to put garbage, orange peel, dirty napkin,... need easy compartment -with plastic bag- with easy driver access to put it away until the next stop.
every time we are...
in this garage/underground carpark -> limit trunk opening height to xx%
approaching home -> send message to smart home heating
Since last update my car can recognize speed-limit-signs, which makes driving better than before, but new problems are showing up:
(1) car cannot distinguish between the end of a speed-limit or the end of other restrictions (forbidden to overtake, end of parking-zone, ...)
Having ability to answer/hang up calls using the scroll wheels instead of having to press the touchscreen would help allow the driver's focus to be on the road instead of having to look on the screen.
In Tesla’s today, the day time running lights turn on the headlights but not the tail lights, thus only providing additional visibility for oncoming vehicles and pedestrians. By also turning on tail lights, Tesla’s would have improved visibility from behind during the day but more i
Similar to the forward collision warning for the driver, the rear-end collision warning system would be for the driver of the following vehicle that is approaching too rapidly. The enhancement request would enable Tesla vehicles to flash the brake lights or center high-mounted
Detects a potential collision while a car is moving in reverse and automatically applies the brakes to avoid or lessen the severity of an impact. Some systems include pedestrian or other object detection.
Add an option to restrict a key automatically. E.g. Limit max speed when certain key is being used. Like the keycard you give to your kids when they want to borrow your car.
This would bring a lot of additional apps to the big screen without implementation effort for Tesla. Video streaming, incoming messages other than SMS (Threema, wire, Telegram,...), video conferencing, city parking guide, airport/station arrival/departure times in realtime, office apps, ...
An audible warning when the speed limit changes. There are many places with small towns that suddenly change the speed limit to 25 MPH, it would be nice if the car gave an audible warning when the speed limit changed. Same when the speed limit increases as you leave town.
can't mention it to often ;)
Both are not for free but must-have options in european cars at that price level.
Once you are used to it, you will miss it more than a driver seat! ...
... ok, maybe that was slightly(!) exaggerated ;)
Owners with parking spots in parking garages may have problems with weak signals preventing software updates. Same goes for travel in remote areas. Tesla should try to increase the range of wireless signals by implementing better antennas, more antennas, or directional antennas.
We have the option to save clips on honk. It should be great to be able to auto export few seconds before and after that honk to the phone already in the car. We already have a phone in the car with a Tesla App running and BT connected.
a fancy steering wheel (no perfect cycle, maybe slightly colored, more aeroplane like) doesn't cost more than a boring one if you purchase a million, but brings value, delight and distinctiveness and is sexy.
The buttons should be user-programmable hotkeys to common used functions.
Having to use 2 hands to close and not being able to slam a hood is really cheap. Either fully automate like the trunk or make it easy to close with one hand like a normal car.
When driving without autopilot on, the car knows when you are about to hit something and should automatically apply the brakes to avoid hitting something in front or backing into something behind you. Infinity has this feature and will automatically stop before backing into the garage or pedest
Not all stations are on TuneIn. There are many that are not and several I listen to are only broadcast or on iHeart Radio. Now that I have the MCU Infotainment upgrade I have lost both my FM and Satellite radios and playing through my phone is cumbersome.
