120v plugs
Add 120v plugs to the front console, rear console, and bed of the truck. Can be used for tools, tire pumps, laptops, or anything else.
We are now marking features that have been implemented by Tesla and taking them out of the main lists of requests.

Parents will love having screens in the backseat for the kids on road trips. As an option, headrests can have a screen in the back for backseat viewing. An headphone jack and speakers for the choice of listening.
The frunk seems to be underutilized to me. On the future pickup, I see it as an opportunity to step up the game. Add connections for the truck to be able to boast another car. Add storage spots for tow cables and cargo straps, a fire extinguisher, a first aid box.
What I love about my F150 is the towing options. Trailer backup wheel, trailer brakes and it can pull a full fifth wheel trailer. For the Tesla Pickup, it should be able to match this. Plus, I think Tesla should go a step further, build the truck to connect to a backup camera on the trailer.
For the winter package for people in northern climates, I would like to see some features which are available with other brands. Such as Heated Side Mirrors, Heated Steering Wheel, Heated Washer Fluid Nozzles, and the ability to turn on the vehicles heaters from the remote or app.
For those of us where bike lane splitting is legal, allow to set the AP to hug closer to left or right of the lane to make a larger clearing. This could be only for slow speeds in traffic.
Really liked the performance/energy use display on model s, something smaller with current trip average would be nice. All the data is in the 'cards' below but would be nice to be persistent, always available perhaps under the battery or something
This is a feature that should be simple to add. It's very helpful when travelling through mountains, and it's generally interesting to know the elevation, just as it is to know the external temperature and time. Maybe it could be inserted near these elements.
I have my first trip meter (Trip A) changed to Lifetime so that I can keep track of my usage over time. But I worry that I or someone else might accidentally reset that trip meter.
Because some days driving to work I need to remind myself what the date is. And I don’t even have Alzheimer’s yet
Turning off creep mode may have certain advantages (better regen, foot off brake pedal at red lights, etc.). . . .
Because when charging, navigation time/arrival doesn't appear to figure in present charging time.
When I cross the border into Canada, it would be nice to switch to metric by simply long pressing the speed. In fact, it takes too much menuing to change settings for any measurement, and changes affect all categories (except for odometer, for some reason).
The problem is that DRLs don't illuminate taillamps (to get a "Volvo 'auto' mode"). Running headlamps in daytime just to get DRL tail lamps wastes battery.
There are times when I want turn off Autosteer but leave cruise control engaged, and not turn the steering wheel. Maybe pushing forward on the to turn that part of Autopilot off would be great.
I would like to see range and % charge remaining on the display. It wouldn't take much more real estate and could be useful. Ish.
It would be great if this could be done with the controls on the steering wheel. So far all I’ve been able to do is mute calls.
While I'm the only one driving the car the passenger and rear vents should never go on unless someone is sitting there or manually turn them on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the passenger air currently does not turn off and doesn't have a way to turn off.
When using the Model 3 Cruise Control, there is no Cancel button (we have to apply brakes to cancel) and Resume button, to get back at our cruising speed already setted. We have to re-accelerate to the speed again and set the Cruise control, again.
Not everyone walking up to their Model 3 wants to use a phone to pop the frunk, esp. when carrying something in their arms. Using the card key, you must enter the car first and use display to pop the frunk. . . .
Show individual trip, daily, weekly, monthly reports on miles achieved per watt used. I guess I'm essentially asking for car fitbit statistics. Should show both on the phone and on the car screen. Also add recommendations on improving performance as well.
Would be nice to schedule or set a timer on the AC/Heat from the phone. Then I don't burn unnecessary power and just have it turn on within a reasonable time before I get to the car.
In the Model 3, you can currently set a START TIME for charging. It would be nice to be able to add a STOP TIME as well, to prevent your car from charging when electricity rates may be higher. Also build this charge scheduling feature into the app.
More details:
When letting off the accelerator quickly flash the brake lights to warn a driver following closely that you are slowing down.
Right now the sound will only drop in volume when the drivers door opens. It would be nice to have that happen regardless of the door opened.
