Gear selection on touch screen
In addition to the existing mode of gear selection, it may be useful to set the gear right on the touch screen by tapping the "P", "R", "N" or "D" icon
We are now marking features that have been implemented by Tesla and taking them out of the main lists of requests.
You can now search the site

ok, most cars have a foot-kick-sensor to open the trunk handsfree. The most Tesla-like way would still be an outside voice command. But if not, a substitute would be to place/model the trunk opening button so you can activate it e.g. with elbow or knee.
I don't know how it works, but if the phone lies loosely in the Audi phone box under the arm rest, it has a far better reception than outside.
Station Picons for the Radio-Stations!
in All modern cars in Europe you can Identify the Radio Stations with thier unique Station Logo.
Just not in the Tesla Radio App.
On many Public 3rd Party Chargers it would be more convenient to have an additional charge port on the Co-Driver side of the car.
Especially
Add a 2nd charge port on the other side!
While there is a light coming towards you it's even more important to keep the rest of the road high beamed instead of dimming it. I can't understand why Americans aren't open for this progress. In Europe it's a must!
As the phone uses the multi-speaker-subwoofer sound system, everybody around your car can/must listen to your phone calls while parking or standing at the traffic lights. I'm sure the sound system could be tuned to keep the sound inside.
The only reason for the co-driver to use the display is for music selection during long trips, opening glovebox or seat heating.
When I'm driving alone, it would be convenient to be able to orient the display fully to me.
... with current speed, speed limit and next navigation advice.
Just to make sure, Tesla doesn't forget it when finalizing the Berlin prototypes. ;)
Ability to turn on Left (L) or Right (R) main or fog lights for emergency means in Lights Control
Speed-dependent volume control adjusts your audio system's sound output to the current speed of your car so you can always hear it clearly, whatever speed you're doing.
Print the speed in the dashcam recordings. Because the Tesla speedo is spot on i was stoppen by Police twice and the told me i 'm speeding but i was not. Then I can show the recordings.
To give you background, I live in Prague/Czech Republic and currently don’t have my own wallbox. DC infra is growing but not exactly ubiquitous. But local utility company started putting 22kW AC chargers on trafostation and they are growing them rapidly.
Please offer an audio upgrade for those people who have an sr+. I would absolutely pay for an upgrade (subwoofer, all speakers and second amp) at the local service centre but it is actually just not possible...
"open charging flap!", "lower windows and start venting!", "open door!", "open frunk!", "finish charging!", ... Yes, there are other ways to do so, but it's free as soon as you have an outside microphone (maybe at the B-pillar) and a way to avoid misuse (phone must be close and outside).
I'd like an even smarter and more reliable way to recognize the user's wish to open the trunk than the old fashioned foot kick gesture. Maybe a voice command when standing with a registered phone (and loaded with shopping bags) behind the car.
If we plan a trip where we might not be able to charge at the destination, we want to arrive with a certain state of charge. Would be helpful to adjust the desired soc at destination within the navigation system.
Similar to seat heating, which has three levels, I would like steering wheel hating to have more levels than only on/off. Currently it gets too warm for continuous use.
Also, it would be nice with an auto-off after [e.g.] 10 minutes.
Normally it is not necessary to use the brakes or only for the last few meters to a full stop. The problem is, the the brakes corrode, begin to squeak and the contact parttern gets worse. The only way to prevent this, is to brake. Even it is not necessary - totally insane...
I'd really like to see more media App's like Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, and Disney Plus. Also possible an App's store for future App's to be added by developers in order to unlock extra capabilities, and allow you to add and remove Apps at will.
For the Long-Range and Performance parking assist enhancement should come as standard. At the very least there should be the ability to add this functionality at a "small price", without having to apply the Enhanced Autopilot at a larger price.
I'm sure I'm not alone in living in a building where my parking has a charger and WiFi but no phone signal. To connect my car to preheat, etc. I have to prevent it going into Deep Sleep by using sentry mode.
