Sentry Mode FAIL: Relocate/Add USB ports to more secure location.

The fix is simple, add or relocate USB ports to the glove box, front trunk, or some other secured location that can not be accessed without access to the vehicle controls.

Tesla Smash & Grabs are getting notice, Youtube videos and news articles expose these criminals as they are caught clearly thanks to the addition of Sentry Mode.

However, no matter how stupid we may think criminals are, the truth of the matter is, they are not idiots. Criminals do learn. You're unlikely to have someone caught on Sentry Mode once to just ignorantly continue smashing into Tesla's. However after watching 5 minutes of any number of videos on Sentry Mode, anyone (including criminals) can learn that Sentry Mode simply saves video files to a connected USB device in the center console. As long as that is the only location in the car with USB ports, criminals will adapt. "Smash and Grabs" will simply become "Smash and Grab and Grab".

All someone has to do is hit the center console quick to open it up, then yank out any connected USB devices and take them too. The fix is simple, add or relocate USB ports to the glove box, front trunk, or some other secured location that can not be accessed without access to the vehicle controls. The current design is like a jewelry store placing it's camera storage equipment inside the same glass case that holds the jewelry. All the cameras in the world don't do any good if the video they record is only stored in one location that is so easily accesible!
