Multiple Waypoints
You can't even plan a round trip with the current single destination let alone a trip with multiple destinations.

While driving the car in 'manual' mode (w/o Autopilot) cars in my blind spot appear in the same color as all the others on the screen. I'd greatly appreciate it if their color would change to red if they 'coast' in my blind spot for more than - let's say two seconds.
I believe having autopilot center itself to the lane a bit more gradually upon activation will help its adoption by new and imperfect drivers. Whenever I activate autopilot, it jolts to the center of the lane, literally jarring everyone in the car.
Add an icon on the top of the main screen that opens the glovebox and/or allow a user to open the glovebox using voice commands.
Why not enable a 'hoon' RWD mode (for track use only, of course)....
thoughts?
This feature is common in most vehicles today; At least in our region the speed limits from the navigation data is more then unreliable and even dangerous if the speed limit is set to "unlimited" even when there actually IS a speed limit and the car is rushing forward with Autopilot or TACC activ
When you activate TACC to set the crusing speed, currently the cruising speed is set to the current speed limit or to the current driving speed, whichever is greater (see manual, page 67).
This is not good, it would be better to set to the lower one.
Remember that two-second following rule from driver's ed? Rather than car lengths, wouldn't it be safer if we could set the following distance based on that two-second following rule, perhaps only when at certain minimum speeds?
My other cars read my text messages to me and I can respond through the voice commands. Teslas should be able to do the same thing. Notify me of a new text message, read it to me, and allow me to respond hands free. Hands free laws are on the books in many states now and growing all of the tim
After Sentry Mode there is just a notice on the cars screen reporting a couple of incidents.
When engaging the right turn signal, switch the center display to the right, rearward facing camera. This would add another layer of safety.
I'd like the car to select my driver profile when I use my phone key to activate it. Add an option to pick one driver profile for each key associated, so when my wife drives it adjusts to her settings etc.
Currently, the camera icon only shows the feed from the rear camera. The only way to view the feeds from the side cams is by saving to USB and reviewing offline, which defeats the purpose of accessing them live.
On (most) modern European cars, it is default system behavior to (rapidly) blink both brake lights during emergency braking, as to make traffic behind you aware of the intensity/urgency of your action.
Option to close windows on lock. Option to close sunroof on lock where fitted
The Web Browser in the M3 really sucks. And it makes no sense to restrict it from playing video as it is only available when the car is in Park. I want to be able to watch YouTube videos of the Boring Co and Netflix when I am waiting at the Supercharger.
There is currently no way to keep the car from accelerating when TACC is set while the car's speed is below what Tesla thinks the speed limit is.
Know what sucks most about a snow storm at the end of a work day? Standing in the blowing snow and scraping the ice off of your windows.
I had the autopilot test for 2 weeks and the only feature that should be available for all cars (essencially for safety) is the adaptative speed (which is available on some other vehicles with the cruise control)
My wife and I have completely different preferences for which A/C vents are blowing on us. Since they're software controlled, how about including those settings in the profiles?
Puts car in neutral; Turns off automatic wipers; Deactivates "Hold" feature on brakes; Turns off all of the sensors/notification chimes of objects close to the car; Folds in side view mirrors. All in one button.
This tendency of the car has my wife (rightfully) afraid to use this car in our hilly town. Its a matter of time before this puts us in the body shop.
Allow users to start or schedule firmware updates from the app in addition to the current process of doing this in the car.
