We need visual speed detection on european highways, and automatic adjustment of speed to it.
When carrying heavy stuff in the car or on the passenger seat, the seat belt warning bell goes off, which is annoying. There should be an option to disable that for passenger seats per drive.
Regulation (and common sense) requires drivers to establish an emergency lane on highways, so that emergency vehicles can pass to the accident place in traffic jam situations safely and fast.
Unlike the implementation in Model X, Model 3/Y trailer mode remains enabled for new drives, even if the trailer is not attached anymore. Trailer mode has to be deactivated manually for these models.
Everybody else including standardization organizations such als WLTP or EPA use KWh/100 km as unit for energy consuption. Please change that in the trip meter and the other energy consumption screens from Wh/km to KWh/100 km for concistency.

You've to open the door so that the car recognizes the iphone key and unlocks the charge port.
Everytime a blowfly or another small flying insect is in my car, the alarm goes off if nobody is in the car. These small insects should be ignored. It is very annoying waking up all neigbors just because of a fly in your Telsa. The car alarm is too sensitive.
When you by mistake drive faster than 150 km/h on Autopilot by manually pressing the accelerator pedal, Autopilot is turned off with a warning, which is fine. But afterwards, Autopilot cannot be reenabled for this drive, until you stop and go into Park. This limitation should be removed.
Sometimes when driving on Autopilot, you have to intervene or you want to take over manual control. On highways, Autopilot should automatically reenable after the intervention if you're driving between line markings on a new lane, without the need for double pulling the stick manually.
Tesla should upgrade the headlights of their cars to Digital Pixel Headlights, so that you can drive with "full/high beams" on even with incoming traffic.

When the fob or phone key is detected, allow a leg swipe or another leg gesture behind the rear camera to automatically release the trunk or liftgate or bed cover. This can be done using image recognition with the rear view camera and does not require additional sensors.
Add augmented reality direction hints over the front camera pictures in the center screen (and/or driver screen for S/X). Accurately calculated arrows should hover over the crossways showing the route to take and the name of the streets are shown directly in the camera feed.
