In the UK the road network uses miles and speed in miles per hour which are mandatory. However, many people use metric measurements for short distances like centimetres and metres in their daily lives so don't use inches and yards as these are not mandatory to know.
In navigation, rather than just negatively framed warnings about needing to be at a certain speed to reach the destination, provide "smart suggestions" regarding distance gained/charge retained if speed was reduced.
We've been told that keeping one's battery at a high state of charge is not ideal for the battery. What about a feature that allows us to set a time by which we want the battery charged to a certain level?
I know there are some apps that support this, but I'd like for Tesla to include this as a native feature in their vehicle and app. For example, I would like my vehicle to be 72 degrees by 7:45 am just before I leave for work and then again at 5:05 pm when I leave.
Remember that two-second following rule from driver's ed? Rather than car lengths, wouldn't it be safer if we could set the following distance based on that two-second following rule, perhaps only when at certain minimum speeds?
